History: Seymour Smith is a relatively new park. The park, developed during
the 1960’s has primarily served as a home for active use recreation pursuits. Various facilities within the park, including a Frisbee golf course, a trap and skeet range, four softball fields, tennis courts, a boy scout soap box derby track, soccer fields, and competition quality baseball field. A portion of the Big Papio Trail system also runs through this park.
